A few months ago my brother, Wayne, called to announce a retirement party that he was planning for Mom and Dad. They had started an upholstery shop in their basement after Dad retired from the Air Force in 1976. Wayne asked if I would make a scrapbook for the occasion. Little did I know what a jouney this scrapbook would be for me in the next few months.
For several years I have collected quotes, Air Force emblems, paper, and pictures for a book like this one. It was something I had in mind for a long time. Now was the time to do it.
After doing this book, contemplating about our family, and watching my family go through the last few weeks of my Mother's life I can see that we truly have a remarkable family. Often we take our families for granted and never stop to see the miricles that have happened through the years. It is my desire to share some of these stories with you. We have a Godly heritage to pass on to our children.
Perhaps you might remember some of the events differently than I do. You are welcome to add details or even make corrections.
